Effects of Macleaya cordata Extract on Growth Performance, Serum Biochemical Parameters, and Intestinal Health of Juvenile American Eel (Anguilla rostrata)

The present trial was conducted to evaluate the supplementation effects of Macleaya cordata extract (MCE) on growth performance, serum biochemical parameters, and intestinal health juvenile American eel (Anguilla rostrata). 480 eels (10.93 ± 0.06 g) were randomly divided into four groups. They fed diets supplemented with MCE levels 0, 25 mg/kg, 50 100 mg/kg for ten weeks, respectively. or could significantly improve increase activities acid phosphatase alkaline phosphatase, as well level high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. There no significant difference in above parameters groups beneficial microbiota demonstrated group In conclusion, be used diet performance status eels.
